This White Limestone raised patio with steps contrasts beautifully with the pale grey patio doors. Revisiting the customer a year later, we love the purple of the flowering chives they have planted and the grey patio furniture set against the white backdrop of the Limestone.

This small garden in Horfield was not fully utilised due to the steep slope.
Decking was a cost effective way to create a level area and a series of ‘floating steps’ added a contemporary feel.
Existing patio slabs were recycled to make the path and an Indian sandstone circle was added for a barbeque area.
The garden was completed by adding low maintenance planting and fitting deck and spot lights.

Raised decking with a wooden railing and safety gate were installed. Paved circular steps lead down to a large patio area with small borders for planting. 

Victorian inspired garden a few months after being planted up.

Beds edged with grey Victorian Scroll.  Next, permeable weed control ground cover is laid for surrounding pathways.

Gravel pathways are laid. The garden is planted up later on when the snow has gone and conditions are a little milder.

Artificial turf and brown, bark effect, rubber chipping provides a safe, all-weather surface to play on.

A wooden, pergola type shelter is built along the side of the building. We used clear, poly-carbonate roofing which lets in lots of light, is hard-wearing and keeps the space dry for outside play whatever the weather.  Wooden fencing was built along an existing, low wall to make the space more secure.

Large turfed area. Artificial turf was used here to provide a tough, durable, all-weather surface.
